WHO WE ARE
Osage Native American
The Osage Nation is a Midwestern Native American tribe of the Great Plains. The tribe developed in the Ohio and Mississippi river valleys around 700 BC. They migrated west after the 17th century, settling near the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. "Osage" is a French version of the tribe's name, roughly translated as "calm water". The Osage people refer to themselves in their indigenous language as 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰𐓓𐒷 (Wazhazhe), or "Mid-waters".
Midwaters Consulting Group, LLC is a Native American-Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), established in 2017 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. MCG's founder, J.D. Holt is an Osage Tribal Member and a retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel. J.D. is an Air Force Academy graduate who spent over twenty years on active duty service. During his time in the military he earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership. J.D. was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his actions during a 1 year combat tour in Afghanistan.

MCG provides digital design, 2D/3D modeling and animation, video production, social media, web development, and mobile application services. MCG conceptualizes, plans and executes responsive and interactive products for delivery across multiple platforms, including external web, mobile, social media and intranet sites. Our team collaborates with clients, as required, to understand and capture their vision and purpose of products to be featured. We promote their interests and seek potential partnerships with industry to develop different resolutions to challenges that they may face.
